Munnings' Retreat

Places to see, things to do

Munnings' Retreat is nestled near the tip of West Cornwall and is surrounded by natural beauty. There are no end of activities to keep the young and old entertained whatever the weather.

Outdoor pursuits

Walking

Cornwall is ideal for walking, with Lamorna being situated on the Cornish coastal path.

The waalk to Mousehole for lunch at the Ship Inn is a favourite of ours. The beach is covered by the Ordnance Survey OS Explorer Map (1:25,000) series number 102 “Land’s End, Penzance and St Ives” and OS Landranger Map (1:50,000 scale) series number 203 “Lands End and Isles of Scilly”

Beaches

There are no end of secluded coves and large surfing beaches to explore. Try the beach at Porthcurno, or the large surfing beaches at Sennen or St Ives.
